| SERENA SERENA I like you Tank. But you don’t strike me as a one woman kind of guy. (pause) I don’t know if you even know what it means to be in a committed relationship. (pause) Maybe I was hoping, but the more I think about it, the more I realize that last night was last night. Today is a new day. JOB CANDIDATE #1 JOB CANDIDATE #1 When you hire me, what you’ll find is I’m a people person! Black, white, short or tall, when the cash register’s ringing, I’ll be singing! (hits a high note) JOB CANDIDATE #2 NADIA Would you have any challenges that would prevent you from opening or closing the store? JOB CANDIDATE #2 That’s a good question. I’m going to have to get back to you on that one. JOB CANDIDATE #3 NADIA How would you handle a difficult customer? JOB CANDIDATE #3 Wait a minute. People going to be (stresses trying) Trying me if I work here? Cause it ain’t that serious! I wish somebody would run up on me! Bam! (punches the air) Cause I don’t play that! CASSANDRA TANK Walt this is, uh... CASSANDRA (to Walter) Cassandra. Nice to meet you. WALTER Like wise. (Cassandra looking around the room.) CASSANDRA (to Tank) Have you seen my... (sees what she’s looking for) Oh, there it is. DANIELLE DANIELLE Tank? (to Walter) Oh, hi. WALTER Hi. TANK Baby, this is my boy, Walter. DANIELLE (to Walter) Nice to meet you. DANIELLE (CONT’D) Tank, are we still going to breakfast? TANK Give me a sec. DANIELLE Okay. CLEOTIS CLEOTIS Nephew! (Walter extends his hand to shake hands with Cleotis.) CLEOTIS (CONT’D) Naw son.
